About
Pretty Please is the culmination of my journey in fashion. With a background steeped in feminism, sustainability, and design, I have crafted a brand that encapsulates all the values closest to my heart.

Discovering my passion for upcycling fabrics during my studies in Fashion Design, I amassed a collection of materials waiting to be transformed. Inspired by the rich tradition of quilting and its deep-rooted connection to feminine history, I saw an opportunity to pay homage through my quilted tote bagsā€”an ode to the enduring legacy of women's craftsmanship.

My love for creativity, design, fine details and craftsmanship have culminated in Pretty Please, a true labour of love. I hope you find as much joy in my creations as I do and most importantly I hope it makes you think 'F*ck that is cute!!!'

Sustainability
Sustainability lies at the heart of Pretty Please. The aim is to minimise material waste by repurposing second-hand and discarded materials. By doing so, we breathe new life into these fabrics, diverting them from landfills and showcasing the remarkable versatility of second-hand materials. There's immense potential in creating from pre-loved materials, and we firmly believe that shifting our perspective in this regard can positively impact our approach to waste management.
One-Of-A-Kind Designs
Our designs are born from whatever we materials we can get our little mits on- leading to truly limited creations! Fabric remnants, pillowcases, tablecloths, old clothing - the list goes on! No two bags are alike, so savor yours as a one-of-a-kind piece.

Caring for Your Bag

Our designs are crafted with care from unique second-hand materials. To ensure the longevity and continued vibrancy of your bag, please follow these care instructions:

Hand Wash Only:

Due to the diverse nature of the fabrics used in our tote bags, we recommend hand washing them with mild detergent and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh chemicals and bleach, as they may affect the colors and textures of the materials.

Gentle Washing:

Treat your tote bag with care during washing. Gently agitate the water to remove dirt and stains without causing undue stress to the fabric. Avoid vigorous rubbing or wringing, as this may damage delicate fibers.

Air Dry:

After washing, lay your tote bag flat to air dry. Avoid using a dryer, as high heat can shrink or distort the fabric. Direct sunlight may also fade certain materials, so choose a shaded area for drying if possible.

Embrace Imperfections:

Embrace the unique character of your upcycled tote bag. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, featuring variations in color, texture, and pattern that reflect its recycled origins. These imperfections are part of what makes your bag special and contribute to its charm.
